Mission Statement

At Stoneleigh Methodist Church we believe that we are invited to respond to the offer of God’s love as shown by Jesus, and to live as His disciples.

To GROW, CARE and SHARE

  • People can GROW in understanding and love of God, of themselves, and others:
To help people grow in Christian living and understanding through meaningful worship, and through Housegroups which explore the Bible and its message for us today.
  • People can have confidence to SHARE the things of God with others so that the whole church is alive with the Spirit of God:
We want to share the good news of Jesus and provide the time in busy lives to help people explore their spiritual needs and to show that God’s love, acceptance and forgiveness is available to all. Alpha courses are run to introduce the basics of Christianity, and Lent/Advent courses to help those seeking to know more about the Christian faith.
